Ezard joins elite company at East Geelong
Caleb Ezard has joined elite company.
East Geelong’s key forward has capped off his first premiership by winning his club’s best and fairest count.
Captain John McIntyre finished runner up, denied a club record sixth win having already featured on the honourboard in 2018, 2021, 2023, 2024 and 2025.
“To be on the same honourboard as him was very special,” Ezard explained.

“He presented me with the medal and as the day went on he got around it.”
Ezard crossed over to East Geelong in season 2022 and was selected in the GDFNL team of the year in 2026.
He slotted 68 goals in season 2026, including hauls of six and seven in the final two rounds of the home and away season.
Ezard becomes the 12th Eagle in club history to win a premiership and club best and fairest in the same season:
