Bannockburn great Ronnie Pilgrim admits his primary focus will be on his side's opening round blockbuster against North Geelong this Saturday.
However his players and loyal supporters have other ideas.
They intend to celebrate the GDFNL legend's 500th combined game as his coaching tally will reach 184 games, adding on to his 316 as a player from 1985.
"The build up has been pretty good, it just means I've been around for a very long time," he explained.
Pilgrim will be called to the stage at tonight's GDFNL season launch.
